About the La Roche-Posay grant:

La Roche-Posay will award up to $50,000 in funds to research projects that meet the criteria of the jury (see below). Grants can be on any topic in dermatology. For research projects awarded grants, funds can only be used on primary research.

Who We Are:

La Roche-Posay is committed to supporting research by encouraging a better understanding of skin conditions and driving innovations towards life-changing dermatology with efficient solutions that improve the quality of life for patients.

Who is Eligible:

This competitive program is open to dermatology residents, fellows, and new practitioners (within the first five years of practice) in the United States.

Decision Process:

Each grant application is reviewed by a jury of board-certified dermatologists. Grants are voted on by the jury based on various criteria including strength of the application and the ability of the researcher to execute their program successfully

How to Apply:

To be considered, please submit your application including the following:
  • Research plan (8 pages maximum)
  • Abstract (1 page)
  • Budget
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the applicant
  • A letter of support from mentor or chief of dermatology

We will award up to 5 Research Grants totaling $50,000 combined for the 2023 grant season. The award amount will vary based on the quality of your research application, the uniqueness of your area of research and your demonstrated funding needs. Grants can be on any topic in dermatology.
