Who is Eligible:

This competitive program is open to licensed dermatologists including dermatology residents, fellows, and new practitioners (within the first five years post-residency) in the United States.

Please include the following:

  • Research Plan: Maximum 8 pages. The scope of the project must be strictly limited to clinical research, excluding community service-based activities
  • Budget & CV: Including full contact information.
  • Mentorship: A letter of support from a mentor or Chief of Dermatology.
  • Verification: An affidavit stating the project has not received full funding from other sources.

Applications are due by November 1, 2026.
Winners will be announced by February 2027.

The Young Investigator Grants represent an ongoing commitment to improving patient outcomes by fostering innovative research among early-career dermatologists in the United States.

ABOUT

La Roche-Posay is providing a combined $50,000 in research grants for the 2026 cycle. Applications will be judged on four key criteria: the importance and innovation of the research; the rigor and feasibility of the methodology; the investigator’s expertise and available resources; and the project’s future impact and scalability. Award amounts vary based on the submission's excellence and the applicant’s specific funding requirements. Awarded funds are restricted solely to primary research expenses.
